Lightning Horseman

Lightning Horseman Slot Game Review As you are about to discover you will be able to play this slot machine in such a way that you can have plenty of ways to win on each spin you play off, but never forget that there are some much more basic slots available to and you may be interested to learn what’s unique about single pay-line slots. Lightning Horseman is a slot somewhat inspired by Sleepy Hollow’s legend: the story in which a decapitated British horseman travels through time. There is the main Jackpot of $€ 62,500 when you put in the maximum bet, and you also win the Lightning Respin as the main bonus.

Lightning Horseman

The wombat says: its Halloween every day in this scary offering from Lightning Box Games: the Lightning Horseman slot. An eerie horseman is on the loose, but fear not wombat fans as he might be creepy, but he will give you some terrifyingly good payouts. He looks like one of those creepy baddies on the Agent Valkyrie slot if you ask me. Shudder.

Vaguely themed around the infamous headless horseman who terrorised villages and villagers in the Middle ages, this chap also had a penchant for pretty ladies.

But most importantly, this game comes with 4 fixed jackpots of various sizes that are triggered randomly. Which really is something to lose your head about…

Let’s take a look!

Look and Feel

The backdrop to the game is a dark forest with old gnarled trees and a suspciously large full moon. Hmmm, werewolves anyone? Yes, the cartoon graphics are a bit outdated (but they look pretty advanced compared to the Snake Charmer slot to be fair) but the game still has a creepy feel thanks to the soundtrack of wolves howling and creaky floorboards!

Game Play

Lightning Horseman slot is a 5 reel, 3 row slot with 40 pay-lines and spins start from £0.40 and go up to £50 per go.

Your scary symbols on the reels include; a treasure chest, an ominous black crow, a weird woodcutter’s shed ( err, do not go inside), a beautiful damsel in a red cape, a man carrying a lantern plus the standard J, Q, K and A playing cards as your lower value symbols. The illustrations are all very nice, certainly a cut above classic toon games like the Amazing Aztecs slot machine, so we’re a happy wombat on that front!

The horseman himself will act as the Wild symbol in the game and replaces all other symbols on the reels (bar the scatter) to help you make extra winning combos. This blood-curdling wild symbol is also the highest paying icon in Lightning Horseman slot and will scoop you a cool 600 coins if you land 5 of a kind. Nice! Cheers to Lightning Box Games!

The Scatter Symbol is represented by the Lightning Bolt.

Free Spins and Bonus Features

Flippin’ Retrigger and Jackpots
If you manage to fill the screen with Lightning Bolts (that’s a whopping great 15 of them), you will trigger the Mega Spins feature. Now you’ll get between 1 and 3 respins to give you even more prizes – or to win you 1 of the jackpots. The Grand Jackpot is the big daddy here, and will awards you 250,000x your stake which really is a life-changing sum!

Conclusion

This medium to high variance is absolutely jam-packed with big wins from 4 different sized jackpots. But if don’t manage to score these lucrative bad boys, the Lightning Respin feature will still pay out very handsomely so the big wins can be made in the base game too. Yes, the graphics are dodgy, but the pays are decent – so take our advice: don’t judge a book by its cover and give Lightning Horseman a spin.
